Why this category, and why we are not first
Pet spending is rising fast: India's pet care spend roughly doubled since FY20 to about $3.6B and its pet population grew from 28.5M to 39.2M. Pet translator apps already exist and one publisher sizes them at $412M in 2024 growing about 20% a year. We are a later entrant, so the product has to be honest: guidance, not a claim to literally translate animals.

India is our home market (about 39M pets). The US has by far the most dogs and cats. Our priority markets are an editorial judgement.

What a $100 million a year PetWhisperer would take
A scenario, not a forecast and not expected revenue. $100 million a year in revenue in three years is the ambition we are building toward. This is the arithmetic of it: how many paying subscribers that takes at three illustrative prices. PetWhisperer has no such traction today and nothing here is a promise.
