The thesis

Why this category, and why we are not first

Faith apps are real businesses. Hallow reached about $10M in monthly net revenue at its peaks, and Sri Mandir's revenue grew 3.8x to 69.6 crore rupees in FY25 after a $20M funding round. We are a third voice with a specific lineage rather than a general platform. Every response is labelled as AI and grounded in the teachings.

This is a faith-sensitive product. Content will be reviewed against the teachings, and we label AI output as AI.

We aim to launch worldwide. Download volume is the best country-level data that is public across every category, so here are the ten biggest app markets and how each moved last year.

India and the Indian diaspora in the US, UK and Gulf are the first markets.

The $100 million ambition

What a $100 million a year Darshan would take

A scenario, not a forecast and not expected revenue. $100 million a year in revenue in three years is the ambition we are building toward. This is the arithmetic of it: how many paying subscribers that takes at three illustrative prices. Darshan has no such traction today and nothing here is a promise.

$30 per yearpaying subscribers needed3.33M subscribers$60 per yearpaying subscribers needed1.67M subscribers$120 per yearpaying subscribers needed0.83M subscribers

Illustrative price points chosen for the maths. They are not Darshan's pricing. The numbers here are a scenario, not results.
